The only thing that made us happier than Leonardo DiCaprio finally winning his well-deserved Oscar was Kate Winslet tearfully reacting to it, then coming onstage to hug him in congratulations.

As soon as the camera cut to Winslet proudly looking on as DiCaprio made his acceptance speech, we started to get as weepy as she was.

Then after the credits started rolling, we started scrolling through the pictures of Winslet joining DiCaprio onstage to congratulate him, and them both hugging each other in the tightest and warmest embrace.

Never let go!

The Oscar winners (DiCaprio now forThe Revenant and Winslet for The Reader), best IRL friends, former star-crossed lovers, and probably constant texters made sobbing fangirls and fanboys of us all as they strutted down the red carpet for the 88th Academy Awards, hand-in-hand.That, and the fact that they were each other's dates to the Oscars on the red carpet earlier that evening, was enough to get us crying into our Titanic VHS tapes.

It reminded us of that time at the 1998 Golden Globes when they first attended, decked in floppy hair and chokers.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet arrive at the 55th Annual Golden Globe Awards Sunday, Jan. 18, 1998.

Here is baby-faced Kate and Leo side-by-side with a picture of them today.

Our hearts will go on.

We'll never let go.

EVERY NIGHT IN OUR DREAMS.
