Saoirse Ronan is wearing a grown-up version of her first Oscar dress

Saoirse Ronan broke out when she was just 13 years-old in Atonement, and went from zero to sixty in no time at all. In fact, her first award show was the Oscars in 2008, where she was nominated for best supporting actress. "When I was here before that was my very first awards show, which is incredible for it to be your first awards show,” she said on the red carpet for THIS year's Oscars (where she's nominated for best actress for Brooklyn, thank you very much).

And not only is she back, she is repeating her original Oscar look, but it is very grown up. See the then/now:

Don't worry, it's all totally intentional. Her emerald green Calvin Klein Collection look is a mirror of her first look and meant to represent her home country of Ireland (which plays a big role in Brooklyn, so it brings the whole thing full circle).
