When a small plane crash-landed in a street in Los Angeles' Pacoima neighborhood on Monday, it wasn't huge news. No one was killed or injured on the ground and the pilot walked away from the mess on San Fernando Road near the local airport.

The pilot was identified the day after the crash as one Henry Corbett, according to local media reports on the mishap, which happened as the pilot attempted to land at Whiteman Airport.

It turns out Corbett is the father of one Joshua James Corbett, who owns the single-engine Mooney M20 plane, according to the Federal Aviation Administration aircraft registry. His address is listed in Klamath Falls, Ore.

Joshua Corbett, 39, is the obsessed fan accused of stalking Sandra Bullock, breaking into and invading her home while she was there in the summer of 2014, forcing her to lock herself in a closet while she urgently called for police help.

The Los Angeles Daily News reported the connection between the Pacoima crash and the alleged Bullock stalker Wednesday.

Sandra Bullock on June 5, 2014.

The plane smashed the roofs and windshields of four parked cars before winding up in the street with its right wing broken off. Fire department officials told reporters the pilot was lucky to have walked away, and lucky to have ended up in a fairly wide road with no pedestrians around.

In an interview with the Daily News, Henry Corbett confirmed his son owns the plane and said he was on landing approach when a wind gust blew him off course. The crash is now under investigation by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.

Joshua Corbett was arrested inside Bullock's home in June 2014, and was later found to be in possession of a cache of weapons, including a machine gun.

Creepy letter from Bullock's stalker released

Police also found a disturbing letter he addressed to Bullock in which the accused home invader is so delusional he thinks he's Bullock's "husband" and the "father" of her son, Louis, according to search warrant affidavits in the case.

Accused Bullock stalker pleads not guilty

Joshua Corbett has pleaded not guilty and is in jail in Los Angeles awaiting trial on charges of burglary, stalking and possession of the machine gun.
