Adele just publicly voiced her support for Kesha -- and she picked quite a stage to do it.
After winning the best female award at the BRIT Awards Wednesday night, Adele seized her time at the mic to speak out for Kesha, who's currently embroiled in a lawsuit against her producer and alleged abuser Dr. Luke.
“I’d like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha," she said.
Adele joins other stars like Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift who've came out for Kesha. The singer released a lengthy statement thanking her supporters Wednesday afternoon, writing, "Other entertainers who knowingly put their own careers at stake by supporting me, I will be forever grateful."
