Tiger Woods posts video of swing, says he's 'progressing nicely'

Tiger Woods answered a report from earlier this week that his third back surgery left him hobbled with two words and a video posted to Twitter on Wednesday.

Woods during the 2015 PGA Championship.

“Progressing nicely,” Woods wrote in a post that included a video of him taking a swing on a golf simulator.

His agent, Mark Steinberg, strongly denied the report on Monday, which alleged Woods had a setback in his recovery that left him unable to sit or walk without pain.

“The tweets that appeared this weekend about Tiger’s health are ridiculous and absolutely false,” Steinberg wrote in an email to USA TODAY Sports. “It’s reprehensible that every few months someone makes something up and it’s treated like a real story. Tiger continues to work on his rehabilitation and we will have an accurate update at the appropriate time.”

Woods has had two microdiscectomy surgeries, the first in March 2014 and second last September. Woods had a follow-up surgery six weeks later to "relieve discomfort."
