George Clooney and Christian Bale gave Ben Affleck Batman advice

Erin Jensen

It seems George Clooney and Christian Bale did one last good Batdeed. Not that Ben Affleck was afraid to play the big black bat, but as he told Jesse Palmer on Good Morning America it was just really important to him to do a good job.

"I really care about (the film), and I want it to do well."

So, to prep for his role as The Caped Crusader in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Affleck reached out to those who had answered the call of the Bat-signal before. And what did they have to say? Apparently, Clooney, who manned the Batmobile in 1997, had "some advice which is not repeatable." #ClassicGeorge. And Bale, who played Bruce Wayne in Christopher Nolan's trilogy, had this advice:

"(He) told me to make sure I got a zipper in the suit, which was valuable, practical advice as it turns out."

Once again, the Batmen save the day!

To see how this superhero beef plays out, check out Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice when it opens on March 25.
