The new 'Ghostbusters' villain might be a familiar face

What you gonna call them for?

Who you gonna fight?

Possibly a villain that we've seen before -- but not in the place you'd expect. The new Big Bad for the Paul Feig-helmed all-female Ghostbusters reboot might just be the familiar befuddled ghost from the Ghostbusters' very own logo.

A Mattel toy line reportedly confirmed to "Pixel Dan" Eardley at the New York Toy Fair that the goofy-faced ghost who graces both their gear and the movie title may somehow be coming to life to fight the four ghostbusters.

He looks decidedly more menacing in the toy (fangs will do that to ya), and we're assuming he'll balloon to 100 times his current size à la the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man who accidentally terrorized New York in the original Ghostbusters.

Ghostbusters, starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth, hits theaters July 15.
