Denied! Yes, Sir Paul McCartney was shut out of Tyga's post-Grammy party
BREAKING: Sir Paul McCartney has just learned that love is not all you need — at least if you’re trying to get into an after-party.
Last night, following the 58th annual Grammy Awards, the former Beatles bandmate was denied entry into Tyga’s post-ceremony party at the Argyle in Hollywood. The English supernova was shut out of the bash along with fellow singer-songwriter Beck and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins — and, of course, TMZ was on-site to capture the whole hot mess.
"How VIP do we gotta get?" McCartney asked before jokingly declaring, “We need another hit!"
No, but seriously, Tyga probably just needs a better bouncer. The rapper took to Twitter Tuesday, insisting he had no idea McCartney was outside.
“Why would I deny @PaulMcCartney stop it. He’s a legend,” the rapper wrote, later adding, “I don’t control the door. I had no knowledge SIR PAUL was there. I just performed and left.”
