"Hello, is it me you're looking for?"

Lionel Richie was honored with a Grammys tribute to his 40+plus year career when he decided to live up to one of his most beloved songs by joining the tribute-singers onstage.

John Legend, Demi Lovato, Meghan Trainor, Luke Bryan and Tyrese Gibson (taking a break from acting, we see?) teamed up to honor Richie's rich career, singing songs such as Easy Like Sunday MorningHelloPenny Lover, andYou Are the Sun You Are the Rain. Lovato's performance of Hello got a cheer from Richie himself (as well as a weirdly intimate close-up of his face), but even that couldn't keep Richie from jumping up to join them in a performance of All Night Long, as his name flashed up in lights behind the stage.

It was glorious
