"Hello, it's me."

It's gotta be a good omen that Taylor Swift took the very first award for best pop vocal album.

Unfortunately, Tay was in the middle of rehearsals — you know, for her Grammys-opening performance — during the pre-ceremony festivities, so she couldn't take the stage to accept her award.

So 1989 producer and Fun frontman Jack Antonoff accepted the award in her place, and gave Taylor a quick phone call to pass on the good news. She was stoked: "We won! We won best pop vocal album?!"

And she had a strange request for the audience. "Is James Taylor there? Can you tell James Taylor I love him?"

Then, obviously, they tweeted about it:

So James, if you're in the audience, Tay gives you her love. How's that for a dream collaboration?

See her performance when the Grammys kick off at 8 p.m. ET.
