Dean is back!

Casting news continues to arrive about the much-anticipated Gilmore Girls revival. Netflix confirms that Jared Padalecki (Supernatural) will join the series to reprise his role as Dean, Rory's fan-favorite former love interest.

Broadway and Bunheads veteran Sutton Foster will also join the cast as a new character, Netflix confirms.

On Wednesday, Netflix confirmed the return of some of Gilmore Girls' most beloved original players: Milo Ventimiglia (Gotham), Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife), Liza Weil (How to Get Away With Murder) and Yanic Truesdale (Rumours) will revive their original characters for Netflix' reboot, which will consist of four 90-minute episodes.

Netflix's 'Gilmore Girls' adds Czuchry, Weil, but no McCarthy

For those keeping track, Padalecki's return marks the reunion of all three love interests of Rory (Alexis Bledel), along with Ventimiglia (Jess) and Czuchry (Logan).

Also back on board for the series are Scott Patterson and Kelly Bishop, returning as Luke and Lorelai's mother, Emily, respectively.

Still not joining the series: Melissa McCarthy, who tweeted about her absence earlier this month.

Stay tuned for the reboot's premiere date and title.
