Meet your new Han Solo, Alden Ehrenreich

Hi, Han.

Get ready, for a brand new stuck up, half-witted, scruffy-looking Nerf herder.

Alden Ehrenreich, the 26-year-old stand-out from Hail, Caesar!, was officially introduced as young Han Solo at Star Wars Celebration in London on Sunday. And though his name had leaked in connection with the role before, it was still pretty amazing to see him share a stage with the likes of John Boyega.

If you don't know the actor, don't worry. We have this handy guide to his charm and talent from his Hail, Caesar! high jinks to his very gifable smile. We can only imagine the gifs that will come to Tumblr once he officially takes to the big screen alongside Chewie.

He stands way out in a movie that includes George freaking Clooney and Channing freaking Tatum

George Clooney had us for awhile. Channing Tatum will always be able to dance his way into our souls. But Ehrenreich is the star in Hail, Caesar!. We promise.

He is the lovable underdog of Hail, Caesar!

His character, adorable Western star Hobie Doyle, just wants to please people. If only Ralph Fiennes' Laurence Laurentz weren't so British and mean.

He can SING

Ehrenreich gets a bit of a song in one of the movies-within-the-movie, Lazy Ol' Moon, and (in addition to a tap-dancing Channing Tatum) it's worth going to Caesar just for that. (If there were a clip available online we would never stop watching.)

He is adorable and gifable

Here is a gif of him walking awkwardly in a tuxedo. Treasure it.

He's got the smile down

I'm sorry what were we talking about?

Listen, he is going to melt us with that.

Look here's that smile in gif form

ARE YOU KIDDING ME, SIR?!

Not convinced yet? Here's a picture of him a convertible

Casual.

We want to go to there.

So anyways, congrats on the role, Alden. We're excited.
