Bruno Mars will be back for Super Bowl halftime show

Coldplay will have not just one, but two Super Bowl halftime alums on stage with them Sunday.

He may just play all the instruments again, too.

Bruno Mars, who had the gig in 2014, confirmed his participation via Instagram Friday in a post that showed him at rehearsals. He and 2013 performer Beyoncé will join this year's act, Coldplay.

It stands to reason that Bey's number will be Hymn for the Weekend, her duet from new Coldplay album. Bruno didn't hint at what he'll be getting up to onstage Sunday.

Doesn't matter, though. Bruno apparently decided, "It ain't a party if Mr. $how UP & $how doesn't show up."

That's fine, Bruno, but if you bring Red Hot Chili Peppers back with you this time, make sure they plug their instruments in.
