Conjoined twins who shared heart and liver died

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The conjoined twins born at an Augusta, Ga., hospital have died.

The twins, Chance and Chandler Crafton, shared a heart and liver.

They died on Wednesday night due to multiple complex medical complications, according to a statement from Children's Hospital of Georgia. Doctors delivered the twins at Georgia Regents Medical Center on Monday.

The twins' mother, Brittany Crafton, is in good condition. The family has requested the media and public to respect their privacy.

A GoFundMe page was set up to help the family pay for medical expenses.
